As a retro tech nerd, I think the embroidery design was digitized well, and I appreciate the coordinating Windows 95 fabric color. I also appreciate the heavy 100% cotton fabric of the garment.
As a hobbyist machine embroiderer, this embroidery job seems amateurish. The knit fabric is distorted and puckered around the edges of the motif, there are bits of bobbin thread visible on top of the design in places, and the shirt arrived with visible fading where the embroidery hoop was. It mostly went away after washing, but I feel I should expect more for a nearly $60 t-shirt, and that's not even including shipping. The thread tails and stabilizer weren't even trimmed away on the wrong side.
I do like the shirt, so I will be keeping it, but a warning to other buyers that I may have returned it if not for having to pay for international shipping.
Shirt is a bit darker teal than it seems to be in the advertising. My embroidery is well done but also quite far over to the side, on me it almost goes around the side of my pectoral to a degree it warps the design. Otherwise I'm satisfied, cloth quality seems very good.
the biggest problem with american companies is using cheap tees in order to lower costs. i love how heavy and durable the shirt is.
